The second suspect in connection to the death of Deputy Peter Herrera made a plea deal Monday morning.
Arlene Leeann Piña was in the vehicle with Facundo Chavez moments before Chavez allegedly shot Herrera on March 22, 2019 in San Elizario.
Herrera died at the hospital two days later.
