The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of Detective Camerino Santiago #1896, who passed away on January 11, 2021 at the age of 67. Detective Santiago served with the El Paso Police Department for 23+ years, from May 1997 until his death. Detective Santiago died due to COVID-19 related issues. Detective Santiago was assigned to the Internal Affairs Division.
Funeral Services for Detective Camerino Santiago are as follows:
Monday, January 18, 2021:
-Visitation from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr.
-Rosary at 5:00 PM
The public will be allowed at the public viewing and Rosary; limited to 60 persons at a time inside. An overflow room will be open for those waiting to pay their respects.
Tuesday, January 19, 2021
-Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM.
-Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd.
