EPPD proposes new headquarter building to El Paso City Council
Aug 22, 2018

It's been 30 years since the El Paso Police Department moved into their current headquarters, which was once a Sears department store.

El Paso Police Chief Greg Allen reported to El Paso City Council that the police department is in need of a new headquarters building on Tuesday.

Chief Allen said the efficiency of the building is costing the city money in repairs.

"The question needs to be asked how far do we let it go before it gets out of control," he said.
