El Paso law enforcement escorts Deputy Carlos Ramirez's wife on graduation day
Jul 29, 2019

It’s been almost a month since the death of Deputy Carlos Ramirez.

The El Paso native was serving in Kendall County when he was struck and killed by a passing car during a routine traffic stop on July 2.

Ramirez leaves behind a wife and two children, but today the family had a reason to honor him once again.

His wife, Jessica Ramirez, walked across the graduation stage of Park University today to receive her bachelor’s degree.
