There were several important elections this year, both internally and externally. In fact, there is a City Runoff Election happening right now. The last day to vote during early voting is on Tuesday, December 8. Election Day is on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Polls will be open that day from 7 AM to 7 PM. Please vote in these important races and support the candidates who support us in public safety.
In addition, we are going continue to ask you to vote… but this time we want you to vote for yourself, for a chance to win! The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association is holding a raffle for a chance to win a $500 gift card just in time for the Christmas Holidays. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in one way or another. We know it has been a tough and stressful year. Our hope is that you and your family members remain healthy and safe.
We have been unable to gather at our monthly General Membership meetings because of the coronavirus and unfortunately, we have also had to cancel the annual EPMPOA Children’s Christmas party. However, we still want to try to give back to our members. A raffle will be held with a winner randomly selected from each of the Regional Command Centers and Headquarters. Six members will each receive a $500 gift card.
All you have to do for a chance to win is visit the EPMPOA website (www.epmpoa.org) or EPMPOA App, log in, and vote. If using the app, go to “Member’s Only” and then to “Online Voting.” On the website, you can find “Online Voting” under “Member Resources” on the left-hand column.
The “voting” period for a chance to win a raffle prize will be open from 12:01 AM on Sunday, December 6 through Midnight on Saturday, December 12, 2020. You have a whole week to vote, so no excuses.
We also ask that while logged in you review and update if necessary, any of your personal information, including your work region and section. It is that simple. If you have not yet registered as a member, please do so, it only takes a couple of minutes. DO NOT create a new account if you already have one. Instead, click on “Forgot Username/Password?” and follow the instructions. Please be patient.
We want our members to continue to visit the EPMPOA website and/or App for important information, but especially to get used to participating in the online voting process. Thank you and best wishes.
Have a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season from the El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association where “Your Vote Always Counts.”
