CLEAT ELECTION IS CRITICAL TO YOUR FUTURE
Updated On: Jan 02, 2013
Greeting EPMPOA,
I know most of you have a distaste for politics, particularly those involving police associations and cops. If the stakes were not so high, I would refrain from pleading with each and every one of you to help us in our efforts to fight for you at the Capitol and here at home. TODD HARRISON, our current President and APA Vice President is under attack from his opponent who is hoping to muddy the water and win this election the old fashion way…by slinging mud. Here are two facts you need to know….Todd’s opponent lost his re-election in his own Fort Worth local last year. In addition, as most of you know, Fort Worth’s pension benefit package was devastated by their City Council just last month. This individual who lost the confidence of his own membership at home, and who was instrumental in losing the fight to protect their own pensions in Ft. Worth wants to run the state union and enter the battle to protect your pensions at this late stage of the war.
The only thing that can hurt our efforts to keep TODD HARRISON in place so that we can have a stable strategy as the Legislation Session begins, is if you don’t vote. Don’t let that ballot sit around and collect dust. Vote for TODD HARRISON on your CLEAT ballot. I am personally asking for your help in order that I can best serve you.
This is not a friendship thing or a power grab. This is about my ability to do the best I can in representing you at the Capitol. Help me out. Don’t sit on the sidelines. VOTE!
Thanks,
Wayne Vincent
