The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of Retired Sergeant Antonio Peralta Jr., #158. He passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 77 after a lengthy illness. (Ret.) Sgt. Peralta served with the El Paso Police Department for 21+ years, from February 1966 until his retirement on November 21, 1987. Prior to joining the El Paso Police Department, Mr. Peralta served in the U.S. Army.
Private Funeral Services for (Ret.) Sergeant Antonio Peralta Jr. are as follows:
Wednesday, April 29, 2020:
-Visitation: 8:30 AM at Perches Funeral Home, 2280 Joe Battle Blvd.
-Interment will be held at 10:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave.
(Ret.) Sergeant Antonio Peralta Mendoza Jr. will receive Retired Police Honors.
Due to the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic only ten persons are allowed to attend funeral services. This private funeral service is limited to immediate family only.
