The El Paso Municipal Police Officers' Association extends its deepest condolences to the family, colleagues, and friends of Las Cruces, New Mexico Police Officer Jonah Hernandez. He was killed Sunday afternoon, February 11, 2024, in the line of duty after responding to a trespassing call. Fallen Officer Hernandez, an El Paso native, had been with the LCPD for two years. He leaves behind a wife and two sons, ages ten and two.
